Order tickets now for the 35th Annual REALTOR® of the Year (ROTY) Banquet, scheduled for June 21 at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum in Springfield. The deadline for ordering is June 15.
The event will honor the accomplishments of the 2016 Illinois REALTOR® of the Year Chris Read and 25 local ROTYs from across the state. Place your order online or use the ticket order form now.
Among the local honorees will be:
- Charles Lindhart of McCabe REALTORS® in DeKalb, who is also a member of the Hometown Association of REALTORS®. He is a past president and served as director of the Hometown board. His community involvement includes the Salvation Army, the Ben Gordon Mental Health Center and the board for the Oak Crest Retirement Center.
- Beckie Chismarick of RE/MAX Country in Streator, who represents the Illini Valley Association of REALTORS®. She’s been active in Illini Valley for nine years, serving on the board of directors and on several committees. In the community she volunteers for the local Kiwanis Key Club, the Streator Leading Ladies Scholarship Committee, the Save Investment Club, the Streator Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the SCCI Leads Group.
- Shirley St. Germaine of American Universal Realty in Bonfield, who is a member of the Kankakee-Iroquois-Ford Association of REALTORS®, where she serves on the local Grievance Committee, Government Affairs and the Homebuyers Task Force. At the state level, she’s served on several committees and currently assists with the Professional Development MIG and the REALTORS® Political Involvement Committee. She is the State Legislative Contact for Senator Toi Hutchinson.
- Tonya Corder of Century 21 Affiliated of Homewood, a former president of the Mainstreet Association of REALTORS®. She is an NAR director focusing on the promotion of diversity. She used NAR’s Diversity Program to educate and inform Mainstreet’s leadership. She formed the local association’s Diversity Task Force and established a diversity statement for the association.
- Allyson Hoffman of RE/MAX Villager in Glenview, a member of the North Shore-Barrington Association of REALTORS®. She has served on the state and local board of directors, as well as numerous committees. She is active with the local MLS, WCR, CRS and Cyberstars. She is a past recipient of the RE/MAX International Lifetime Achievement Award.
