Illinois GRI has been in existence for 50 years, and the Illinois Association of REALTORS® honored the program and those who have made it so strong over the years at a celebration on Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2014, at the Hotel Pere Marquette in Peoria.
The event was headlined by the band Jammsammich, and featured hors for several in attendance.
- Mark Barker and Lynn Madison were honored for 20 years of service for teaching at GRI.
- Julie Roth was honored for her service as dean of GRI.
- Sue Miller was honored for service as a GRI governor.
Wayne Edwards, who was IAR’s director of professional development for more than 30 years, was also honored. The GRI Graduate Program was named after Edwards, who retired earlier this year.
Rick Hanselman, 2014 GRI dean, emceed the awards ceremony.
