An Illinois REALTOR® who served on the state association’s board of directors and played a role in helping the association shape its input for a rewrite of the Real Estate Licence Act died Monday in Decatur. He was 75.
Larry Chapman was a member of the Illinois REALTOR® Board of Directors in 1984 and 1985, and served as chair of the License Law Task Force in 1995. He also served on the GRI Board of Governors from 1990-92.
Chapman had been with Lyle W. Campbell & Son REALTORS®, and according to the obituary published in the Decatur newspaper, he was named REALTOR® of the Year in 1986 and 2009 by the Decatur Association of REALTORS®.
