The Capital Area REALTORS® collected more than $4,000 in money and toys for donations to the Springfield Art Association’s Edwards Place and the Central Illinois Foodbank’s Kids Café, while providing Christmas gifts to a number of area foster children at its holiday party.
Edwards Place received nearly $3,000 and several dozen toys were given to the Central Illinois Foodbank’s Kids Café.
Capital Area officers include: President John Klemm (Sangamon Realty in Springfield), President-Elect Ed Mahoney (RE/MAX Professionals in Springfield), Secretary/Treasurer Kristie DeBrun (Campo Realty in Pawnee) and West Central Branch President Dena Turner (Century 21 Tucker-Swanson, Inc. in Galesburg). Dan Sale is the association executive.
