The Champaign County Association of REALTORS® and its affiliate members demonstrated their community involvement a few weeks ago when they delivered a total of 256 blankets to eight local charities through the Bundles of Warmth program. It’s one way these local REALTORS® give back to the communities they serve in a meaningful way.
The organizations that received the donations included:
- Champaign-Urbana@home (30),
- Circle of Friends (20),
- Courage Connection (36),
- Crisis Nursery (20),
- Empty Tomb (50),
- Family Services (20),
- Restoration Ministry (50) and
- Salt & Light (30).
Volunteers who helped with the distribution included:
- Chris Diana of Twin City Realty,
- Christina Hawn of RE/MAX Realty Associates,
- Michelle Mott of Keller Williams TREC,
- Jean Crowley of PNC Bank,
- Elana Hassell of PNC,
- Adam Hodge of First State Bank and
- Shay Moore of Marine Bank – Affiliate Networking Chair.
The Champaign County Association of REALTORS® was founded in 1917 and has more than 400 members. The association is an advocate for homeownership and private property rights, and it strives to be recognized as a community and education focused resource of ethical real estate professionals. It is led by Association Executive Linda Green, President Eric Porter, President-Elect Julie Roth and Treasurer-Secretary Liz McDonald.
