The Three Rivers Association of REALTORS® (TRAR) held a winter coat drive to benefit the poor and the homeless in Joliet and will help with food and gift distribution for the needy on Dec. 22.
Three Rivers members dropped off the clothing Thursday at the Morning Star Mission and for Lambs Fold Center for Women and Children in Joliet. The Morning Star provides food, clothing and shelter for the needy, as well as Christmas gifts and holiday food baskets for individuals and families. The Lambs Fold helps homeless and abused women and children by providing housing, recovery services and counseling/training to achieve self-sufficiency.
On Dec. 22, TRAR members will hand out food bags and children’s gifts for needy families at the Morning Star Mission.
TRAR officers for 2016 are: President Jim Sim, President-Elect Matt Persicketti, Secretary/Treasurer Ken Pytlewski and Immediate Past President Debbie Prodehl. The Three Rivers Association of REALTORS® is a professional trade association representing the interests of property owners and 950 licensed real estate agents in Will and Grundy counties and surrounding areas. It is part of the Illinois Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®.
