(l to r) Cristina Headly and Sharon Gorrell discuss ways for landlords and property owners to improve accessibility for prospective tenants and clients.

In a second Fair Housing Video by Illinois REALTORS®, members can learn many ways landlords and property owners can better serve individuals with disabilities.

One idea involves improving the accessibility of housing search and application processes, says Cristina Headly, Staff Attorney of Equip for Equality, during an interview with Sharon Gorrell, Illinois REALTORS® Policy Advisor, Housing and Diversity. To find out Headly’s suggestions for basic maintenance of property, low-cost improvements and information about federal grants, watch the video.
