With one day left in 2017, we wrap up our summary of the achievements of Illinois REALTORS® during the past year. In today’s blog post, we remember when Oak Brook-area REALTOR® and Inland Real Estate Chairman Daniel L. Goodwin was named recipient of the first Illinois REALTORS® Lifetime Achievement Award.
Goodwin received the award in April at the REALTORS® Political Action Committee’s Pacesetter VIP event at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum in Springfield. Read about it here. In attendance were: Gov. Bruce Rauner, Speaker of the House Mike Madigan, former Senate Republican Leader Christine Radogno, House Republican Leader Jim Durkin and many others.
Goodwin is a former Chicago Public Schools teacher who helped found Inland Real Estate and grow the company into what it is today. Find out more about his background by watching a video about his career and reading about his reaction to winning the award.
