The Greater Gateway Association of REALTORS® (GGAR) donated nearly $4,500 total to 11 local area food pantries in November to help individuals and families in need of their services during the holiday season.

GGAR spread the contributions equally among the following organizations: Bond County Food Pantry, Collinsville Food Pantry, Community Hope Center, Crisis Food Center, Highland Food Pantry, Litchfield Food Pantry, Livingston Park Association, Maryville Food Pantry, Ministries Unlimited, New Creations Food Pantry and Staunton Helping Hands, according to GGAR CEO Kyle Anderson. Each received checks for $413.

Earlier in the year, REALTORS® raised money for the project through its annual Taste of Greater Gateway Association of REALTORS® event.

GGAR is led by Anderson, President Rick Lauschke of Paul Lauschke & Associates in Alton, President-elect Elaine Rhodes of Coldwell Banker Brown in Godfrey and Immediate Past President Laurie Moore of RE/MAX Alliance in Collinsville. Greater Gateway serves 1,200 members from its office in Glen Carbon.
