Chicago REALTOR® Maurice Hampton, managing broker/CEO of Centered International Realty, has been nominated for approval to the Cook County Land Bank Authority’s Board of Directors.

The 10-member board includes public officials, community development advocates and real estate professionals who will oversee the Land Bank Authority’s efforts to return vacant properties in Cook County to productive use.

Hampton, ABR, CIPS, SRS, has worked in real estate for more than a decade. He is a member of the Board of Directors for both Illinois REALTORS® and NAR® and has been very active in REALTOR® activities on the local, state and national levels. He is a past president of the Chicago Association of REALTORS® and serves as the State Legislative Contact for State Sen. LaShawn Ford of Chicago. Hampton is an approved trainer for the Illinois REALTORS® Diversity and Inclusion Grant program and has served on the NAR CIPS Faculty for more than four years. He is an RPAC Major Investor and was recently inducted into the RPAC Hall of Fame.
