The Heartland REALTOR® Organization supplied roughly 30 volunteers to the Salvation Army of Crystal Lake and McHenry County during the holiday season.

“At Heartland, serving others is the cornerstone of our organizational culture,” said 2020 President Kelly Simpson. “We embrace opportunities to serve and proudly support organizations that strengthen our communities and touch the lives around us and the places we call home.”

“Volunteer bell ringers are the difference between an empty kettle and one that raises the funds that sustain the help we give all year long,” says the Salvation Army website.

Heartland is led by CEO Jim Haisler, President Kelly Simpson of Coldwell Banker The Real Estate Group in McHenry, President-elect Erin Dierks of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Starck Real Estate in Woodstock, Treasurer Timothy Sebastian of RE/MAX Connections II in Marengo and Immediate Past President Becky Kirchner of RE/MAX Plaza in Woodstock. Heartland serves 1,022 members.
