REALTORS® looking to make inroads with millennials – or anyone else who hasn’t owned a home before – can use rental properties to demonstrate their value to them.
At least that’s one of the ideas espoused today in an Inman article titled, “How to feed the first-time buyer pipeline: Part 2.” The idea is particularly valuable to new real estate professionals who need sales to get started in their new careers but who also need to plant seeds for future sales. In some circumstances, real estate agents who are tenant representatives can earn six figures.
Another idea that can help you succeed, the article says, is educating renters about how to become homeowners. Educate yourself about programs available in Illinois and share that information with renters through blogging, mailing and other means.
