The Illinois Association of REALTORS® received an EXCEL Award last night for Media Innovation for its Membership Benefits Video Series at the 31^st Annual EXCEL Awards Gala hosted by the Association Media and Publishing Association at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, D.C. From the 1,100 entries, 197 awards were presented recognizing excellence in association media and publishing including magazine and newsletter design and editorial, digital and print, social media strategy and video from associations nationwide.

About the IAR video series, judges for the EXCEL awards said: “The video accomplished the task that it set out to do. The commentary was clear, concise and the right length to keep the audience’s attention.”

The video series was designed for the busy and highly mobile Illinois REALTOR®, to alert members to the many free tools, resources and services provided by their state association in four key categories: Governmental Affairs, Professional Development, Legal Resources and Communications. The video series was produced in short segments to engage and inform IAR members, easily accessible from the association’s YouTube channel, www.youtube.com/illinoisrealtor.
