Federal Political Coordinators and their teams logged a full day of Congressional visits on Capitol Hill on Wednesday, May 15.
The teams discussed the Mainstreet Fairness Act and the rural housing program. IAR Members provided members of Congress with the latest snapshot of what Illinois’ housing market looks like.
It was a long day, beginning with a meeting of all FPCs at 8 a.m., and ending with the final meeting of the day at 5:15 p.m. All told, by the end of the day, some 10 of the state’s elected officials had been contacted, with additional visits scheduled for Thursday (May 16).
