The Illinois REALTOR® Consulate General Liaison to Poland, Don Pasek, and Global staff liaison Sharon Gorrell met with Robert Rusiecki, Consul to the Republic of Poland last week to discuss the new Consulate General Liaison Program (CGLP). The CGLP was introduced earlier this year by Illinois REALTORS®.

Pasek, the managing broker for Omniterra Real Properties in Chicago, described our organization, shared information on Illinois’ real estate industry and economy, along with networking and partnership ideas. They also discussed the diverse facets of the industry in both the U.S. and Poland. One highlight was, we share our involvement in industry and consumer advocacy to our elected officials, whereas in Poland, policy engagement is not currently a common practice with the industry. Consul Rusiecki was impressed with the program and is looking forward to future opportunities to connect.
