Illinois REALTORS® Director of Government Affairs Greg St. Aubin discusses the association’s advocacy efforts with members of the Leadership Development Class in Springfield on April 4, 2016.

The Illinois REALTORS® Leadership Development Class was in Springfield on Monday, April 4, as part of festivities leading up to the annual Capitol Conference and Lobby Day.

The program was established to help emerging leaders in the REALTOR® community gain training and insight in the various programs offered by the association. Monday’s sessions concentrated on the association’s advocacy efforts at the local, state and national levels.

Greg St. Aubin, Director of Government Affairs led off the session, which included updates on the association’s political action committee and how the association works with lawmakers on both sides of the political aisle.

The meeting was held at the Abraham Lincoln Doubletree Hotel in Springfield, and is one of a series of training sessions held throughout the year.
