- Chicago: Recently enacted changes to the Residential Landlord/Tenant Ordinance and proposals such as just cause evictions.
- Illinois: Updates to the new Real Estate License Act

While some may joke about being “over” 2020, there is no doubt this year has been full of new challenges and changes for Illinois’ housing and rental markets. The Rogers Park Builders Group, a local group supporting residential and commercial property investment, recently posted a list of proposed Illinois housing laws for Chicago and Cook County.
