Kelly, interviewed by Indiana Governor-elect Eric Holcomb, was asked what advice she had for President-elect Donald Trump. “To rise above it,” Kelly said, noting that Trump is going to have to get used to the fact that criticism is part of the job.

Kelly also discussed the election, saying she thought most people were turned off by all the dishonesty, But, turning away from the media as a source of news is not the solution. “To completely de-legitimize the press is dangerous, she said.

The Fox News anchor of the Kelly File said the person she most wants to interview now is Steve Bannon, recently appointed as a top aide to Trump and who has been criticized for his ties to the alt-right movement.

Kelly just recently published her book, Settle for More, which chronicles her time in the news business, and her run-ins with Trump and former Fox News chairman and CEO Roger Ailes.
