The 2016 Illinois Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors at the December, 2015 meeting held at the association’s headquarters in Springfield.
This week the Illinois Association of REALTORS® swore in eight board members at the association’s year-end meeting.
The REALTORS® have served in a number of high-profile roles in the organization, and bring a wealth of experience to their positions on the IAR Board of Directors. The directors will serve three-year terms.
Sworn in were:
Michael Buscher: Buscher, CRB, GRI, is a managing broker and partner at The Real Estate Group in Springfield.
Phil Chiles: Chiles, ABR, CRS, GRI, SRES, was 2014 IAR president, and is a broker-associate with the Real Estate Group in Springfield.
Robert Eby: Eby, SSFR, is a broker with Century 21 Affiliated in LaGrange Park.
David Levin: Levin is v
Catherine Terpstra: Terpstra, ABR, GRI, SRES, MRP, is a broker with Coldwell Banker Residential in Naperville.
Vicky Turner: Turner, CRS, GRI, is a broker with United Country Burke Realty in Galena.
Sheryl Grider Whitehurst: Whitehurst, CRB, GRI, served as IAR president in 2011. She is a managing broker at REMAX Traders Unlimited in Peoria. She served as 2015 regional vice president for the National Association of REALTORS®.
Kay Wirth: Wirth, CRS, GRI, was IAR president in 2008, and is a broker at RE/MAX Unlimited Northwest in Crystal Lake.
The board’s officers are: IAR President Mike Drews, President-elect Doug Carpenter, Treasurer Matt Difanis and Immediate Past-President Jim Kinney.
Returning board members are: Loretta Alonzo, Pat Callan, Patrick Dalessandro, Michael Oldenettel, Ron Abrams, Andrew Cook, Jeff Kolbus, Thomas Krettler, Susan Miller, Max Mitchell, Ed Neaves, Michael Onorato, Michael Parent, Stan Sieron, Ginger Sreenan and Dan Wagner.
