Members of the Century 21 Affiliated brokerage in Rockford and Roscoe showed their community spirit in December when they sent Christmas cards to hundreds of residents of area extended care facilities.

She encouraged participants to donate extra Christmas cards to the project and worked with representatives of the facilities to coordinate efforts.

On Dec. 23, Century 21 delivered a total of 300 Christmas cards to Cherryvale Place in Rockford, Heritage Woods of Rockford and Fair Oaks of South Beloit.

“Each of the residents received a card,” said Kelly. “Giving can be measured in so many ways. It doesn’t always have to be financial. Small, simple acts of kindness can make a big difference.”
