Karen Barbagallo takes part in a ceremony honoring her late husband's induction into the RPAC Hall of Fame. Jim Barbagallo was a tireless supporter of RPAC.

Illinois REALTORS® were out in force in the nation’s capital last week, attending policy meetings and lobbying for private property rights. Hera are a few of the highlights from the week:

• Crosby receives top service award: Illinois REALTOR® Jean Crosby was recognized with the national associations Distinguished Service Award. She’ll be honored at the NAR convention in November.
• DC meetings end with state, regional caucuses: IAR members gathered before the Board of Directors meeting to report from committees and share information.

• Let’s Talk Real Estate with Sen. Kirk: Members met with the senator in the Senate Banking Committee hearing room.
