The U.S. economy added 161,000 jobs in October, but the better news is that average hourly wages climbed 2.8 percent, marking the strongest jump since 2009, the New York Times reports today in the article, “Last Pre-election Jobs Report Shows Healthy Growth and Higher Wages.”
