In honor of Mother’s Day, several Chicago-area newspapers highlighted some Illinois mother-son and mother-daughter real estate teams who have found business success by working together.

“As a mother, what makes your heart soar is to take a child and share your business with them and watch them take flight,” REALTOR® Beverly Eckert told the Southtown Star in the article, “Mother, son a real estate partnership that works.”

Eckert and her son, REALTOR® Brent Eckert, work together at Keller Williams Preferred Realty in Orland Park.

In St. Charles, REALTOR® Jeff Cadwallader works with his mother, REALTOR® Jeanne Cadwallader at Coldwell Banker Residential. They have found that her people skills working one-on-one with clients and his strengths with technology and new marketing ideas have made a good business combination.

“We were able to combine her old school with my new school,” Jeff Cadwallader said in the Daily Herald article, “Moms show their kids the real estate ropes.”
