U.S. pending home sales slowed slightly in August compared to July, but still remained 6.1 percent higher than a year ago, the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) reported this morning. Despite month-to-month fluctuations, the NAR Pending Home Sales Index has experienced year-over-year gains for the last 12 months.
