Over the next 12 months, REALTORS®  expect U.S. home prices to grow around 3.5 percent, according to the latest REALTORS® Confidence Index Survey from the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR).

The survey, taken in June and August, finds that REALTORS® anticipate continued median price improvement, although at a more moderate pace than earlier in the year. See the NAR graphic below of state-by-state expectations, including Illinois, where respondents expect price gains to average around 3 to 4 percent.
