Real estate in Illinois is growing, IDFPR Division of Real Estate Director Laurie Murphy, said during the Broker Engagement Forum at the Fall Business Meetings in Oak Brook.

The number of residential leasing agents increased 14 percent in 2022 when compared with 2021, while the percentage of managing brokers rose 3 percent and the number of brokers went up 4 percent. “I’m glad to see the real estate profession is growing,” Murphy said. “Hopefully, we’ll continue to see this trend.”
