Nykea Pippion McGriff was appointed 2022 Illinois REALTORS® Special Commitee Board Liaison. She will coordinate with leadership and the chairs and vice chairs of the Commercial and Property Management Committee, Affordable Housing and Community Involvement Committee and Local Government Affairs Committee.
Pippion McGriff is a licensed managing broker and branch vice president of Coldwell Banker Realty in Chicago. She was named Industry MVP in 2018 by Chicago Agent Magazine’s Agents’ Choice Awards and became the first Black woman president of the Chicago Association of REALTORS® in 2020.
Actively involved in REALTOR® association work at the local, state and national level, Pippion McGriff is serving a second term on the Illinois REALTORS® Board of Directors. Her association invovelment includes service as a Federal Political Coordinator to U.S. Representative Bobby Rush, Chair of the License Law Rewrite-Business Practices Working Group, RPAC Trustee, REALTORS® Political Involvement Working Group, Strategic Planning Committee and REEF Board of Directors. Pippion McGriff was also a member of the Leadership Development Class of 2015.
Through her committee involvement, Pippion McGriff has pursued her interest in community development, business issues, housing opportunity, professional development and professional standards.
