Chief economist and Vice President of Research for the National Association of REALTORS® Lawrence Yun encourages members to prepare for more real estate activity by staying connected with clients in the coming days and weeks. Data indicates that many communities are rebounding from the recession caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, he says.
Those are just a few of the messages Yun mentions in a video released Monday titled, “Navigating the Current Economy.” Other messages include:
- pending transactions are on the rise,
- interest rates are at record lows,
- home prices are rising,
- recession looks to be much less severe than 2008-09 and
- real estate will lead the country’s economic recovery.
