The Stefanie Pratt Team at the Coldwell Banker Real Estate Group in Champaign showed its holiday spirit by feeding 43 area families in need on Dec. 21.

REALTORS® Give Back graphic with Christmas decorationsREALTOR® Stephanie Pratt says the example her parents set for her as a young woman inspired her to develop “Stefanie’s Holiday Dinner Giveaway 2020.” She found two local restaurants willing to cook complete holiday meals, then found sponsors, volunteers willing to help pack food into boxes and members of local police departments agreed to deliver the meals.

“My parents knew tenants in their apartment complexes with little or no food to eat,” said Pratt. “And they would invite them to eat dinner with us.

“I have been blessed to have an incredible year in real estate and I wanted to give back to the community in some way,” she said. “I am so excited to be able to give to those in need. Everyone needs to have a meal at Christmas and this project allows two restaurants to be supported through these difficult times.”

In addition to Pratt, another member of the Coldwell Banker Real Estate Group brokerage, REALTOR® Scott Saults was instrumental in the project.
