Final Day Recap

At the Board of Directors meeting that concluded Fall Business Meetings in Naperville on Oct. 14, seven REALTORS® were recognized for their contributions to the association and the real estate industry. Tommy Choi, Matt Difanis, Lutalo McGee, Michael D. Oldenettel, Mike Scobey, Ginger Sreenan and Rebecca Thomson, received Presidential Medallions from Illinois REALTORS® 2021 President Sue Miller.  

The Board of Directors meeting closed out an eventful week that included committee meetings, round table discussions, trainings presentations and forums. Among the highlights:

At the 104th Inaugural Gala on Tuesday, Ezekiel “Zeke” Morris, of Willowbrook, was sworn in as the 2022 Illinois REALTORS® President.  

Also during the Inaugural Gala, Illinois REALTORS revealed a new theme: Everyone Deserves the American Dream: REALTORS® are the key to homeownership. This theme has also been referred to as the American Dream theme.  

The American Dream theme speaks to REALTORS®’ commitment to helping clients achieve their dreams of buying or selling their homes and the significant role REALTORS® play in achieving those dreams. Watch the video.
