There is still time to register for the second in the REALTOR® Reads Speaker Series programming, “Nobody Wants to Talk About It: Race, Identity and the Difficulties in Forging Meaningful Conversations,” scheduled for the morning of March 24. Attend virtually or in-person.
The first 50 REALTORS® who register will get a free book of the same title by Michael Forsberg, actor, activist and author. Register for in-person attendance at Riverside Receptions in Geneva or use a different link to attend virtually.
Programming begins at 9:30 a.m. with a 30-minute presentation by Montell Armstrong, executive director, CEO of the Housing Authority of Elgin. At 10 a.m., Forsberg will perform his one-man autobiographical play, “Incognito,” and then discuss race and other issues that are part of his performance.
REALTOR® Reads is sponsored by Illinois REALTORS®. This event is being held in conjunction with the REALTOR® Association of the Fox Valley and its VOICE Task Force.
