About 120 REALTORS® gathered for a Professional Standards Workshop at the Illinois REALTORS® offices in Springfield Tuesday.
New and experienced members of local associations throughout the state attended the training, which offers attendees practical applications of the National Association of REALTORS® Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.
The training was led by Missouri REALTOR® Bruce Aydt, ABR, ABRM, CRB, Green, who is also an attorney and educator from St. Louis. He has more than 30 years of experience in managing real estate brokerages and is the senior vice-president and general counsel of Prudential Alliance, REALTORS®. He is a former REALTOR® of the Year for the St Louis Association and Missouri Association of REALTORS®.
On Wednesday, Illinois REALTORS® will offer a similar workshop at Drury Lane Theatre and Conference Center in Oakbrook Terrace. Registration begins at 7:45 a.m., with the workshop beginning at 8:30 a.m. The session will have two tracks, with one for beginners and another for members with more than three years professional standards experience. Lunch is included.
