Congratulations to the 2013 REALTORS® of the Year who will be honored at tonight’s awards banquet, sponsored by the Illinois Real Estate Educational Foundation. The banquet is held in conjunction with the business meetings of the 41,000-member Illinois Association of REALTORS® in Springfield, Ill.

The banquet is sponsored annually by the Foundation to honor local award recipients and the Illinois REALTOR® of the Year. The 2013 Illinois State recipient is John Vranas. Contributors of the Foundation will also be recognized at the banquet.
The Illinois Real Estate Educational Foundation is a not-for-profit organization established in 1970 to promote real estate education throughout Illinois. Voluntary contributions from organizations and individuals support the Foundation.
Awarding academic scholarships is a major activity of the Real Estate Educational Foundation (REEF), providing financial support to talented college students and real estate professionals. The Foundation’s aim is to promote and assist suitable standards of education in all aspects of the field of real estate. Since 2000, REEF has awarded more than $347,300 in scholarships. These awards have helped Illinois real estate professionals fulfill their educational dreams and pursue careers in the real estate industry.
