Illinois REALTORS® spent more than a hour on Sunday getting updates about happenings over several days of business meetings this week in Boston.

The Illinois Caucus provides a chance for members of various national-level committees to provide updates on measures which will come before the NAR Board of Directors on Monday.

  Illinois REALTORS® Vice President of Professional Development Kristen Butcher speaks to the Illinois Caucus shortly after it was announced that she had been named executive vice president for the association effective Jan. 1, 2019.

  Members were also told that Kristen Butcher, vice president for professional development will become executive vice president of Illinois REALTORS® effective Jan. 1.

• Mabel Guzman was recognized at the state caucus for her service promoting the state association at the national level. She had been awarded a Presidential Medallion at the Illinois REALTORS® business meetings in October, but was unable to be on hand for the presentation.

Immediate Past President Matt Difanis presented the medallion.

The caucus is followed by a Region VII caucus which allows members from across the Midwest to share news and updated from their areas.
