Illinois REALTORS® has surpassed six of the goals needed to qualify for the 2019 President’s Cup.
The association blew past its advocacy goal of 9,418 REALTOR® Party Mobile Alert subscribers and finished October with 9,615. REALTORS® have also met advocacy goals for: hosting a voter registration event, hosting a state broker meeting and conducting a broker involvement call for action program. In addition, the association met REALTOR® Political Action Committee (RPAC) fundraising targets for the President’s Circle (59) and participation (42 percent).
In order to qualify for the President’s Cup for a third consecutive year, Illinois REALTORS® must hit or exceed these goals by Dec. 11:
- $1,655,250 in RPAC dollars raised
- 471 Major Investors and
- 20 percent participation on a national Call for Action, if one is needed.
“Our grassroots efforts have really grown by leaps and bounds over the last several years,” said Neil Malone, Illinois REALTORS® director of grassroots and political programs. “It is great to see the hard work of our committed Illinois REALTORS recognized and to see steady progress in member mobilization. Our goal is to always be leading the way nationally.”
Building on last year
In 2018, the association met or surpassed nine advocacy or RPAC fundraising goals set by NAR, including:
- 20 percent participation in Calls for Action
- 37 percent participation in RPAC by members
- 439 Major Investors, investing at least $1,000 in RPAC
- $1,575,000 RPAC dollars raised
- 44 members of the President’s Cup
