REEF was established in 1970 to aid and promote real estate education throughout Illinois. REEF is supported through voluntary contributions of those who recognize the importance of furthering academic experience and training in the real estate industry in Illinois. The scholarship winners will have their scholarship funds sent to the college or university of their choice to defray costs each semester during 2015-16.

Scholarship awards are awarded each year by the foundation to students of real estate and related fields of study at colleges and universities inside and outside of Illinois, to candidates of the Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI) of Illinois program, and to those furthering their knowledge in the field of association management and leadership.
