Capital Area REALTORS® CEO Dan Sale will be leaving his position in September to become the CEO for the St. Louis REALTORS®.

The Springfield Business Journal reported the news Thursday, noting that Sale has been Capital Area CEO since 1994. Capital Area REALTORS® President Ed Mahoney, of RE/MAX Professionals in Springfield, said the local association’s executive committee is working to make sure the transition to a new CEO goes smoothly.

Prior to his work for Capital Area REALTORS®, Sale was a legislative policy analyst for Illinois REALTORS®.
