Preparation can protect you from dangerous or threatening situations on the job, whether the actions you take are high tech or low tech, according to an article in the January issue of Illinois REALTOR®.
The NAR has expanded its REALTOR® Safety Program since the 2014 murder of Beverly Carter in Arkansas. The article, “Tech & You: High-tech and low-tech ways to stay safer on the job,” provides a link to a consumer video, information about a three-hour safety course, “Real Estate Matters,” tips from two industry safety trainers and several safety apps that could be used on a smartphone or tablet.
