Members of the Coldwell Banker the Real Estate Group in Sycamore showed their support for adults using nearby homeless shelters during the 2020 holiday season.

“This was our second year doing this,” said Maria Pena-Graham of Coldwell Banker the Real Estate Group. “We bought for the adults because people sometimes forget that adults need a Christmas gift too. We wrapped up gifts for males and females and delivered them to the shelters so they could be given out Christmas morning.

“When they have to leave their homes and move into a shelter, they literally have nothing,” Pena-Graham said. “No socks, gloves, etc. We all know how cold it is in Illinois, so to be able to provide some joy and bring a smile to an adult going through bad times is priceless.”

Participants in the project included: Pena-Graham, Katie Morsch, Diane Hammon, Julie Fabrizius, Peggy Ramirez, Kelly Miller, Nancy Watson, Lisa Gudmundson, Heidi Greiff, Linda Smith, Brenda Henke, Kathy Hammes, Jill Doherty and Trish Pater.
