Tenant-initiated applications for emergency rental payment assistance through the 2021 Illinois Rental Payment Program (ILRPP) are being accepted until Sunday, July 18, and a series of How to Apply webinars for tenants are scheduled during June and July.
The 2021 ILRPP provides money to cover missed rent payments resulting from the COVID pandemic between June 2020 through August 2021. Applicants are eligible for a grant of up to $25,000 in one-time grants. Specific details on the program can be found on IHDA’s website.
How to Apply training webinars for tenants and interested parties are available in English and Spanish from June 29-July 14. See the webinar schedule below.
