From city hall to the Illinois statehouse to the U.S. Capitol, our elected officials are making decisions that have a huge impact on the bottom line of REALTORS® and their customers. How can you get involved? Here are four quick ways Illinois REALTORS® can make a difference this campaign year.
1. Vote. Are you registered to vote? If not, you can register by Feb. 16 for the March 15 Illinois Primary Election. Go to the Illinois State Board of Elections web page to find out where to do this in your local area: https://ova.elections.il.gov/
2. Act. Sign up for the REALTOR® Party mobile text alerts so you when an important issue comes up this year that affects your real estate business, you will hear about it right away. It’s easy to do. Just text REALTORS to 30644.
3. Act. Put REALTOR® Lobby Day & 100th Anniversary Reception on your calendar – April 5 in Springfield!
4. Invest. Help elect REALTOR®-supported candidates in the primary and general elections. Investing just $20 can make a difference.*
