Trainer Bruce Aydt shared a day’s worth of lessons about the importance of ethical leadership with members of the 2017 Leadership Development Program at the Illinois REALTORS® offices Wednesday.
Near the end of the day, he offered three insights any Illinois REALTORS® could take to heart about ethical decision making:
- “Ethical choices in leadership roles go well beyond the (REALTOR®) Code of Ethics,”
- “Leaders face ethical choices in virtually every part of their leadership role,” and
- “Leadership roles — like building consensus — revolve around building ethical principles.”
Participants in the Illinois REALTORS® Leadership Program meet periodically for training that could help them assume leadership positions on the state and national level. The 2017 class, which met for two days in Springfield this week, took part in today’s session, titled: “Ethical Business Decisions.” Aydt’s includes:
