Let’s recap the recognition some Illinois REALTORS® received during the year because of the significant ways they impacted their colleagues, their communities and the marketplace. And because we couldn’t fit everyone in one blog post, let’s continue the conversation today with Matt Difanis.
July – IAR 2016 Treasurer Matt Difanis was named Central Illinois Business Magazine’s 40-Under-40 Man of the Year. A partner with RE/MAX Realty Associates in Champaign, Difanis is president of the Mahomet Area Youth Club and a former volunteer photographer for area Honor Flights. He was 2012 president of the Champaign County Association of REALTORS® and the association’s 2013 REALTOR® of the Year. A REALTOR® since 1998, Difanis is a graduate of the University of Illinois and the University of Illinois’ College of Law.
He has chaired and served on more than a dozen IAR committees and task forces, along with multiple NAR committees. In 2014, Difanis became his local association’s first — and only — RPAC Golden R investor.
(This is the third in a series of blog posts on Illinois “REALTORS® who made a difference in 2015.” Look for the next story here tomorrow.)
