A member of the Illinois REALTORS® Board of Directors – with 45 years of commercial real estate experience – has been appointed international brand ambassador for SVN International Corp., based in Boston.

As international brand ambassador, Alex Ruggieri will work with SVN’s leadership team to help the organization grow and enhance its reputation as a commercial industry leader. In addition to his experience with leasing, sales and development, he has been recognized for promotion of sustainable real estate practices. His goals will include heightening awareness of SVN’s services and capabilities, expanding its international reach and building relationships with global customers.

Ruggieri, who served as an advisor for SVN-Ramshaw Real Estate in Champaign for many years, joined North Star Equities in 2022 to work with his son, Noah Ruggieri. North Star is currently negotiating to become the area’s SVN franchisee. It is anticipated the name will be changed to SVN-Northstar.
