The desire to buy a home remains strong, particularly among younger renters.

An overwhelming majority (94 percent) of renters who are under 34 years old aspire to eventually become a homeowner, according to the new HOME (Housing Opportunities and Market Experience) survey released today by the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR).

Two key reasons given for not buying yet: inability to afford buying a home right now and the need for flexibility at this point in their lives. Download and share NAR’s infographic.
