Wayne Paprocki

Just a few weeks into his first year on the Illinois REALTORS® Board of Directors, Wayne Paprocki of Realty Advisors North in Northbrook is enjoying his new role.

Paprocki attended the first board of directors meeting of the year at the Public Policy Meetings in East Peoria, and it’s a new way he can give back to the association that represents his colleagues statewide. Having been involved in real estate for decades, he’s been an Illinois REALTOR® since 1981.

He’s been an instructor for the Graduate REALTORS® Institute since 1982, a member of the Association of Illinois Real Estate Educators (AIREE) since 1988, a national online instructor for Kaplan Real Estate School and a member of the adjunct faculty in the Real Estate Department at Roosevelt University in Chicago.

He is the state director for the Real Estate Negotiation Institute and served on the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation’s Real Estate Education Advisory Council since 2005.

In 2015, he was president of the North Shore-Barrington Association of REALTORS®.

In 2017, he serves as a certified ombudsman for the Illinois REALTORS® and the Business Issues/License Law Forum Committee. In 2016, he contributed as a first-time member of the Political Involvement Committee and as a second-year member of the State Legislative Contacts Working Group.

Paprocki is one of four new members of the Illinois REALTORS® Board of Directors, including Nick Libert of Chicago, Debbie Prodehl of Homer Glen and Rebecca Thomson of Chicago.
