Illinois residents who want to cast a vote in the Illinois general primary can do so between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m., Tues., March 17, also known as St. Patrick’s Day.

Those who aren’t registered to vote can visit the local election authority to register and cast their votes in person. Ask about grace period registration.
