On Dec. 17, members of the Three Rivers Association of REALTORS® (TRAR) visited the MorningStar Mission in Joliet to help with the charity’s annual food and gift giveaway.

Representatives of the TRAR Board of Directors, Young Professionals Network and staff members helped that day and more than 300 families were served. It is the 13th year that the local association has donated time, money, food, toys and clothing to the MorningStar Mission.

MorningStar Mission is a non-denominational organization dedicated to relieving the spiritual and physical hunger of the poor by providing food for the hungry, clothes for the needy and shelter for the homeless. The mission offers programs and services to help resolve core problems that cause homelessness, including alcohol and drug abuse, mental illness and more.

Three Rivers is led by CEO David McClintock, President-elect Eddie Ruettiger of Baird and Warner in Plainfield, Treasurer Gibby Kirby of Realty Executives Success in Shorewood and Immediate Past President Judy Panozzo of Real People Realty, Inc. in Mokena. TRAR serves 950 members.
